I was lucky enough to attend a women's mountain biking retreat hosted by Momentum & Shredly in Park City, Utah and it was phenomenal. The coaches were all superb and helped my mtb skills grow exponentially in just a few days! My goal was to get... wheels off the ground for jumping, which happened for me (woohoo!), and SO MUCH MORE. We got amazing drops and jumps and technical uphill riding instruction, and all of the basics were reviewed for good measure as well. A whole ton of fun and learning. Your riding will improve. Highly recommended!read more

    Avalanche Ranch Details

Avalanche Ranch is best described as a Rocky Mountain Picture Post Card in the Heart of Colorado. This pastoral setting offers the beauty and peace of an earlier era. Situated at 7,000 feet, overlooking the Crystal River, with Mt. Sopris towering above at 12,953′, the views are more dramatic than you can imagine.

The 36-acre Ranch offers cozy log cabins and covered wagons for lodging options during our retreat.

There are also nearby trails for hiking as well as a half mile of private riverfront along the Crystal River to walk and fish during down times.

Across the river, the valley opens up providing spectacular views. Avalanche Creek flows into the Crystal River, surrounded by forest service and wilderness land.

The Lodge is open 24 hours as a recreation facility for us and offers a cozy lounge area for us to hang out in when off the bikes or out of the springs. The game room has a ping-pong table and a variety of popular games and puzzles.
