About The Retreat
All Skill Levels Welcome (Beginner to Advanced)
We’ll kick off the retreat with a meet and greet Thursday evening, followed by three days of yoga, mountain biking through breathtaking scenery with elite instructors, and delightful evening activities each night.
We split riders up into small riding groups sorted by skill level to ensure that everyone has just the right amount of challenge and the most fun possible.
The Ultimate Multisport Retreat
We will begin each day with a peaceful morning yoga session led by Angela Houghton at Sundari Yoga & Wellness Studio. In addition, you’ll enjoy a half day of SUP (stand-up paddle boarding) instruction on the Colorado River, led by Natali Zollinger, an 18-year river guide and professional whitewater stand-up paddle athlete.

Join SHREDLY and Momentum Mountain Biking for 3 nights and 4 days of learning, growing, and connecting with other riders like you! Open to all women, trans and cis, as well as non-binary people who feel like this would be the best space for them to learn and have fun.

While a final and more detailed retreat schedule is distributed to registered participants, below provides a general view of what you can expect.
Day 1 (May 25th)
Check into accommodations at Field Station and join us for a meet and greet between 4-6:30 PM. Meet & greet will include goodie bag pickup, group information, introductions, socializing, tie-dye, and snacks and refreshments.

What is not included:
- Alcohol is not included with dinners, but will be available for purchase both nights.
- Mountain bike and helmet. We don’t have bikes, but you can rent a bike from one of the awesome bike shops in town.
- Transportation to/from our accommodations for participants or bikes before and after the retreat. If you are having trouble or need help arranging transportation for yourself or your bike, please email us and we’ll see if we can help.
**Breakfast is included all three days. Lunch and dinner is included on days 2-3.
Arrival: Please plan on checking in to Field Station on Thursday (5/25) and joining us for a meet & greet between 4-6:30 PM. If planning to fly into Moab, your closest options are the Moab Airport (CNY), which has daily flights from Denver and Salt Lake City. Or the Grand Junction airport (GJT), which is a 90-minute drive from Moab located in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Departure: Participants who did not book an additional night’s stay Sunday night will check out Sunday morning before we head out on rides. Rides will end early Sunday afternoon, and transportation will be provided back to the hotel.
Cancellation policy: 100% refundable up to 45 days in advance, 50% refundable up to one month in advance, and fully transferrable to a friend up to four days in advance.
Trip insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance, and we have partnered with IMG Insurance, a travel insurance provider. What if I'm beginner? Expert Level?
This retreat is truly all levels!
Suitable for everyone from beginner riders to long-time shredders.
Post-registration you’ll receive a skills assessment questionnaire that will help us determine your skill set and riding level.
We will use that information to divide riders up into small riding groups sorted by skill level to ensure that everyone has just the right amount of challenge and the most fun possible.
How does the referral program work?

When you register for the retreat, you will receive a confirmation email from our registrar, BikeReg/Outside. At the bottom of that email, you will see instructions on how to share either a referral link or a referral code your friends can enter when they register.

What Should I Pack?
We highly suggest you bring the items listed on this packing list with you on the retreat for the mountain biking portions of the retreat.
While a SUP, paddle, whitewater leash, life jacket, snacks, and transporation are included. It is recommended to bring the following:
1. Water Bottle with a Carabiner
Please don’t bring your camelbak or anything else with shoulder straps.
2. Sunglasses w/ Chums
Pack if your eyes are sensitive to the sun. If not, we recommend not bringing your sunglasses.
3. Appropriate Shoes
You will need shoes that stay on your feet if you happen to swim. We recommend these ASTRAL shoes for any on water experience.
4. Wetsuit Top and Bottoms
A great thing to have if you run cold. We recommend the Billabong Salty Dayz Vest and Billabong Sea Leggings rated at 1-2mm thickness.
5. Towel and an Extra Change of Clothes
They will stay in the van until after your trip.
Can’t find these items where you live? No worries, you will definitely be able to pick them up once you arrive in Moab. We do ask you have these items when you arrive for your activity.
Can I attend if I live in Moab?
Absolutely!

Do I provide the bike?
Yes! Each participant is responsible for arriving to the retreat with their own bike and helmet to use throughout the retreat.
Moab has several wonderful bike shops that rent mountain bikes. If you want to find a particular brand of bike, send us an email and we can point you in the right direction.
Is the lodging single occupancy?
The standard rate for the retreat includes shared lodging (2 per room). During the registration process, you can provide a name if you prefer to room with another participant.
Want Single Occupancy?
You can! There is an upgrade option during registration for an additional fee you can have a single occupancy room.
Where is the lodging?
We’ve partnered with the great folks at a brand new property in Moab called Field Station for accommodations for our retreat. This is a beautiful establishment recently built in Moab, with fun, adventurous, outdoor inspired decor. It’s a vibe, and we think you’re going to love it.
What Food is Provided?
Your retreat registration will include breakfast on all three mornings and lunch and dinner on days 2 and 3. We’ll also have delicious trail snacks and an electrolyte hydration mix for you each day, provided by Skratch Labs.

SUP- The Details
The trip is approximately 8 miles down the infamous Colorado River. You’ll paddle through flat water, riffles, and possibly a few rapids. On the water, we’ll practice skills and drills, take some time to float and enjoy the scenery, do a little floating yoga and fitness, and stop for a quick snack and stretching.

Due to permitting limitations for guided SUP trips on the Colorado Rover, you will not be allowed to use your own SUP or life jacket.


Meet Your Instructor, Natali
Natali is a desert girl at heart. From her home base in Moab, she’s built the perfect surf-and-turf lifestyle.
As an 18-year river guide and an accomplished professional whitewater stand-up paddle athlete for Badfish SUP, Natali spends most of her year on the river. Whether it be guiding rafts down the Grand Canyon or competing in some of the top whitewater SUP races in the country, Natali loves all things water.

Stretching and centering are so important to an enjoyable day on the trail. This is why we’re stoked to partner with the talented Angela Houghton, from Sundari Yoga & Wellness Studio, to offer an amazing yoga session each morning of this retreat.

Meet Angela
Angela has been a mountain biker since before there was front suspension. She guided mountain bike tours and spent time as a mountain bike instructor in Moab and Western United States.
Angela began practicing yoga in earnest over 20 years ago. She gravitates towards an alignment-based practice with plenty of room for philosophy and play. She strives to stay humble and curious in her practice so that she can continue to grow as a student and teacher.
Angela is also a mama and horsewoman. She looks forward to practicing and playing on and off the mat with you!
